Diogo Oliveira Santos
Partner and Co-founder
Lawyer and co-founder of Orien – Law Firm, Diogo focuses on strategic legal advisory in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate, and immigration law.
Diogo founded Orien in 2025, and prior to that, worked as an independent lawyer. Throughout his professional career, he has gained experience in corporate law, real estate, capital markets, and private clients, working with both companies and law firms.
Over the course of his career, he has advised family businesses, joint ventures, real estate developers, and private investor – from asset purchase and management, to its development and licensing, whilst also being involved in M&A operations, due diligence and shareholder regulations.
He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
Holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and a Master’s in Corporate and Business Law from the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto Regional Center. He also completed two postgraduate programs: one in Corporate Finance and another in Investment Funds, both at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
He has been registered in the Portuguese Bar Association since 2020.
